B12 Methylfolate Select™ provides clinically relevant levels of methylcobalamin, the active form of Vitamin B12, along with supportive folate-also provided in its active, methylated form as Quatrefolic® L-5-MTHF.
It aids in the formation of red blood cells, supports healthy neurotransmitter synthesis and helps promote the healthy maintenance of the myelin sheath that surrounds nerve cells. In its active, methylcobalamin form, this essential nutrient is readily absorbed and utilized by the body.
Vitamin B12 interacts with folate to help maintain healthy homocysteine levels within the normal range. High homocysteine levels have been associated with an increased incidence of cardiovascular problems. Vitamin B12 and folate also work together to help support a healthy gastrointestinal tract, a healthy nervous system, healthy cellular reproduction and healthy fat and protein metabolism.
B12 Methylfolate Select™ dissolves easily under the tongue for rapid sublingual delivery. It is verified gluten free and has been rigorously tested for purity and potency.
